1. Choose the Right Support
We begin by helping parents, schools, or commissioners find the right starting point.
That could mean identifying a key focus area like teamwork, emotional development, or work readiness, or choosing a delivery format like one-to-one mentoring, small group sessions, or an online community.
Whatever the need, we match the approach to the young person’s goals and preferences.

2. Join a Game-Based Session
Once a plan is in place, the young person is invited to join a session, often starting with a relaxed introduction or onboarding.
Sessions use games young people already love (like Minecraft, Valheim, or D&D) to create shared experiences and make participation feel natural and engaging. This isn’t just about play, it’s about using fun as a vehicle for connection, insight, and growth.

3. Build Trust
At the core of our approach is relationship. Mentors build a connection through consistency, play, and empathy, creating a safe space where the young person feels understood and respected.
This trust lays the groundwork for deeper reflection, openness, and confidence, especially for young people who may struggle in traditional environments.

4. Develop Skills
With trust in place, we start to focus on skill-building.
Sessions are structured to support development in areas like:
-
Communication
-
Teamwork
-
Work readiness
-
Emotional awareness
-
Problem solving
We use the Skills Builder Framework to guide this, breaking each skill into small, achievable steps and tailoring support to each individual’s progress.

5. Track Progress
We believe in showing real growth, not just through stories, but through data.
Every young person completes a benchmark at the beginning and end of their time with us. Mentors also help them reflect on how their skills have developed and how they’re applying them, in friendships, in school, or at work.
We share this progress with families, schools, or councils as appropriate, helping everyone understand the journey and celebrate success.

Want to talk through the process?
We’d love to chat. Whether you’re a parent wondering how it might work for your child, or a commissioner planning a targeted programme, we’re happy to help you take the first step.
