Growth areas

We support growth in four key areas: building trust, developing essential skills, improving social and emotional wellbeing, and preparing for work.

     Relationship and Trust

This is at the heart of everything we do. Before any skill can grow, a young person needs to feel safe, seen, and supported. Our mentors take time to build meaningful, consistent relationships through shared experiences in games and conversation.
Trust is what allows young people to open up, take risks, and grow, it’s the foundation for confidence, connection, and progress.

     Essential Skills

Our Essential Skills Courses are built upon the Skills Builder Partnership’s Universal Framework, ensuring a structured and measurable approach to skill development. Using this internationally recognized model, we break essential skills down into teachable steps, helping participants develop key competencies such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability. â€‹

     Social and Emotional Development

These programs aim to cultivate self-awareness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills. By engaging in activities that promote empathy and relationship-building, participants learn to navigate social environments more effectively and build healthier relationships.

     Work Preparation

Designed to equip individuals with the necessary tools to enter and thrive in the workforce, these courses cover areas like resume building, interview techniques, and workplace etiquette. The goal is to enhance employability and confidence in professional settings.
