Greg

Greg is an educator with 15+ years’ experience teaching maths, sciences, and history. He co-founded Openspace Theatre School in Brighton, teaching drama while also working as a TV and theatre actor.

He taught for the Brighton and Hove Museum service, leading sessions in science, history, and natural history across local museums. At MY HELM CIC, he manages the tutoring team and delivers engaging workshops for young people with SEN, often using gamification.

Greg has also brought history to life through immersive roles, including The Prince Regent at the Royal Pavilion, Mr Elphick at Preston Manor, Mr Fogg at Phileas Fogg’s World of Adventures, and the Captain in the Titanic Experience. He has even been a professional Santa for over a decade.

Expertise 

Greg has decades of experience working with young people through teaching and tutoring. He has established and managed extracurricular youth clubs and led expeditions as a Duke of Edinburgh Award leader. He has been an enthusiastic gamer throughout his life and co-produced and presented an award-winning show about gaming on British television, which was later distributed globally on Amazon Video.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science: First Class Honours, Understanding Autism: Level 2, Certificate in Child Protection for Tutors.

Traits

Greg prides himself on being patient, empathetic and supportive. He loves helping young people develop and hopes he can be a positive role model to those he mentors.​

Witcher 3, Grounded, Starfield, Division 1 & 2, Total War, Shadow of Mordor.

Interests

Greg loves all things gaming, including board games. He also enjoys history, walks, and the theatre. Although he started exploring it later in life, he enjoys discovering other countries and cultures through exciting holidays.
